World Cup 2022: Black Stars can shock any opposition – Ex-assistant coach Maxwell Konadu

Former Black Stars assistant coach, Maxwell Konadu believes Ghana can shock any opposition on the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

After lacking out on the final version hosted in Russia in 2018, the four-time African champions have returned to the world’s largest soccer stage.

Ghana secured qualification on the expense of Nigeria after two-legged video games performed in March.

Regardless of being housed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay, the Legon Cities gaffer believes Otto Addo and his fees can shock any facet.

“I’m very hopeful that the Black Stars can shock any group together with Portugal,” he instructed Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.

“We should even be cautious that our group is a brand new group as in comparison with Portugal who has been collectively for an extended interval.

“One factor our strikers must keep away from is to not personalize purpose scoring only for private glory or to announce their presence on the World Cup.

“They have to play as a group and with that, they’ve the potential to blossom,” he added.
